 A
new dimension to Internet Mail Jataayu, jMail addresses the need
to extend availability of e-mail from the WEB to users of WAP capable devices.
jMail offers users access to their email via WAP phone, so that they can access
and send messages while on the move. Rather than operating as a
stand-alone mail server, jMail client is designed to interface to existing mail
servers using the POP3 or IMAP protocol. To use this facility you must have an
existing POP (Post Office Protocol) or IMAP account with any ISP or a Mailbox
provider. Using a standard WEB/WAP Browser, user can access jMail and manage his/her
mail box. jMail will alert the user giving him relevant information about the
new arrived mail by SMS.
jMail is a highly scalable solution with
the ability to handle more than a million mailboxes. It works with one of the
most widely used mailing systems in the world, qmail. jMail is a robust, high
performance system designed to provide fast response times. It is loaded with
advanced features like message rules for mail management, support for multiple
signatures like personal, work and service, sending mail as fax and calendar
support. Architecture
