Jataayu partners with Azingo Jataayu to license its messaging solutions on Azingo Mobile
Barcelona, 13 Feb, 2008: Jataayu Software announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Azingo, a core member of the LiMo Foundation. With this agreement, Jataayu will license its messaging solutions like MMS, IM & Email to be pre-integrated on Azingo's next-generation open mobile Linux platform called Azingo Mobile. This partnership will offer customers a pre-integrated, highly-customizable option that would include Jataayu's mobile messaging suite. The process of porting, validating and integrating software for mobile phones takes significant monetary and time investment. This pre-integrated solution aims at simplifying the development process that in turn results in a reduced time to market. “Jataayu offers a comprehensive messaging solution that’s ideal for some of our customers,” said Ravi Gopalakrishnan, vice president of engineering at Azingo. “Highly personalized and customizable messaging applications are some of the most desirable applications for mobile customers. We’re pleased to be working with Jataavu to offer this pre-integrated option for Azingo Mobile.” "With Linux taking center-stage, LiMo and its ecosystem partners are poised to play a key role in offering mobile device platforms to OEMs and ODMs at a reduced time-to-market. We believe that Azingo's mobile platform with pre-integrated Jataayu applications would benefit customers to bring devices faster to the market.” said Raj Kesarimall, Head, Mobile Devices BU, Jataayu Software.
